" Increased stomach inflammation and hovering anxiety can increase the blood pressure. " I had a Endoscopy done a week ago and was diagnosed with Superficial Gastritis... nothing else wrong was seen.. I've been dealing with it for about 3 months now..also had a CT scan done in early April of my entire abdomen and looked ok. My blood pressure is usually perfectly normal range... and was normal when they were monitoring it and doing the Endoscopy a week ago.. Tuesday morning I checked my BP and it was normal as usual... Then Wednesday morning I had a bit of a anxiety / panic attack because I started having some reflux from my Gastritis with some blood which isn't unusual for me.. I've had it once in a while sometimes since it began.. but this time it lasted a little longer than usual which made me panic a bit........doctor said he saw no blood anywhere when he looked in........ so I believe it gets aggravated sometimes if I eat something that annoys it..... But since that happened my BP has been elevated more than normal.. my pulse is above 100.. and systolic is also higher than it normally is....can be up to 140 at times.... diastolic is normal.. is this just stress induced ? going to the doctor in 7 days to go over Endoscopy and still waiting for biopsy result check for / infection / inflammation.......
