i’ve been using omeprazole for 5 days now for acid reflux and i’ve had stomach pain, dizziness, and headaches. if these side effects persist should i stop taking it?
I guess they never did an endoscopy and they just came to the conclusion you have acid reflux and order the pills, right? Skipping a day or 2 is going to do much to you so I suggest you call your Doc tomorrow and just put on hold your next dose. Now, if you had these symptoms (reflux symptoms) for a long time I suggest they do further testing but just don't stop taking these pills and do nothing. ;-(( God bless!
my doctor prescribed these to me because my stomach was producing more acid due to the stress of surgery i had in october for appendicitis. what happens if i stop taking them?
I'm not a Doctor, but skipping a day or 2 is one thing, not taking them for that reason is another. You need to call your Dr tell him the side effects. He will probably change he medication.
