can ibs be felt lower down near utreus
Hi lisa…yes mine is always on the move. It even aggravates my bladder at times. Many times there is trapped gas involved which can be in any location and cause many different sensations from outright cramps to dull or very sharp pain along with nausea at times.
am just learning about IBS I was recently diagnose, i find i would pee alot and i would get scared cause i thought it was a uti but then it will go away the next day or something
do u get pain lower down
yes i get that too sometimes feels like i got a uti or period pains without the infection or the period do u get that
Yes it comes and goes. Gas and hard feces cause a lot of these sensations. Also diarrhea or cramps will cause these problems too.
IBS can be felt anywhere on the abdomen and pain moves about. I thought it was a gnae problem I had but it turned out to be IBS. Have you had a pelvic ultrasound to rule out uterine problems? They tried to give me a pelvic scan, but I couldn’t tolerate the pain, so they gave up. However, from my symptoms , they reassured me they saw no evidence of ovarian cysts.
With my IBS, it used to feel like I was having my period but without the bleeding.
what u do to help this
yea i have had ultrasound was normal i keep asking for another but they say they dont need to do another
do u feel it on the right side
I take Buscopan and painkillers. However, I haven’t had a flare up for a few years now.
In that case, accept the advice not to do another ultrasound since it was your doctor that told you this. SInce your ultrasound was normal, a repeat test will likely show up clear too. This is why your doctor feels there is no point in having another. One doctor told me I needed to do all the tests again because they were all inconclusive and didn’t lead to a diagnosis. Another, doctor told me I didn’t need repeat tests because he was confident I had IBS because I had no new symptoms over three and a half months and I was no worse. I accepted this and started to feel much better about my health and my IBS settled down.
i know but some docs tell me me pains could be endometrios but i dont know as dont get heavy periods and no pain when on but im on pill now only been on it 2 months ive seen a urgloist make sure bladder is ok cause the pains down below that normal its right side ache that worrys me that i could have cyst or something
The only way to find out for sure if you have endometriosis is by a laparoscopy. Have you had a pelvic ultrasound? That would tell you if you had cysts. A pelvic ultrasound is not the same as an abdominal ultrasound. However, if you had a cyst, you would experience nausea, light or heavy periods and a lot of pain. You might experience bloating. It doesn’t appear you are having trouble with your periods since they are not heavy and you don’t have pain.
Your doctors seem to be saying different things which is not providing a diagnosis and is causing confusion. See a different doctor and ask about endometriosis and cysts. When I couldn’t get answers, I researched conditions that seemed to tally with my symptoms and made a list of them and asked my doctor to rule them in/out one by one. Perhaps try that. Emphasize you worries. I listed all my worries and that got me diagnosed.
