Can lisinopril increase 3 weeks ago be causing my extreme anxiety thst started last week?

I am a 46 year old male with anxiety/panic disorder. Starting last week, my anxiety has been through the roof. The only change in my life was an increase of my blood pressure medicibd a couple of weeks ago. I take lisinopril. Please advise. Could this be the culprit!?

Hi Michael, Anxiety can come on for no reason. There are some meds which can also bring it on or make it worse. I am not sure about your particular med. I would wait a few weeks to see if your anxiety subsides and if not, then I would see my doctor.
