I was diagnosed years ago, but since that one time I have not seen any warts or sores on my penis. However, I have had instances where one inguinal lymph node was swollen (just dull pain upon touch, not really enlarged). I haven't had any noticeable outbreaks, but last Friday I had unprotected sex and then next day, I felt slight pain in my left groin node and it came and went throughout the day, I felt my node but couldn't find any swelling on the node area until yesterday morning, the swelling wasn't large, I didn't even think it grew at all, but definitely felt more pain upon touch, and later that day, the right node also swelled up. feeling discomfort , I slept early that night (had a good night's sleep) and while today's pain is still there, it has definitely reduced significantly in severity. I should also note that the pain isn't as bad if I try to touch my nodes when lying down. I'm also worried if it is HIV, but symptoms appeared so quickly (especially when I started beginning to feel random discomfort in less than 24hrs after sexual encounter). I booked a STD test next week, but as normal reaction I did doctor Google while I wait. I stumbled upon recurrent outbreaks of HSV2 and a few of my symptoms match. With the exception of blisters. Has anyone who has HSV2 have a similar experience? swollen lymph nodes, a barely noticeable sore throat which is also gone today, but no blisters? Sorry if this is the wrong forum. were you diagnosed with hsv2? ive been recently diagnosed so im not sure about recurrent outbreaks, but id say its just a waiting game to see if anything decides to come up. those may be your beginning symptoms, if you dont mind private message me. id love to hear what youve done to only experience one outbreak
