CT ABDOMEN WITH CONTRAST Comparison is made to 3/30/21. Transhepatic protocol study was performed. The liver, spleen, adrenals, kidneys, gallbladder appear unremarkable. As on the previous study, the pancreas appears mildly diffusely thickened. However, the pancreas enhances normally without focal lesion, and there is no peripancreatic inflammation. No pseudocyst is identified. The bowel gas pattern is nonspecific and nonobstructive. No free fluid, pneumoperitoneum or lymphadenopathy is seen. A large amount of fecal matter is seen in the colon. The aorta is normal size without focal aneurysm. The lung bases are clear. No suspicious osseous lesion or acute fracture is identified. IMPRESSION: AS BEFORE, THE PANCREAS APPEARS MILDLY AND DIFFUSELY THICKENED WHICH IS STABLE. HOWEVER, NO FOCAL PANCREATIC LESION IS SEEN, AND THERE IS NO PERIPANCREATIC INFLAMMATION THAT OTHERWISE WOULD SUGGEST PANCREATITIS. THIS MAY JUST BE CONSTITUTIONAL FOR THE PATIENT. SUGGEST CLINICAL CORRELATION. OTHERWISE, I WOULD SUGGEST A FOLLOW-UP CT IN SIX MONTHS. IF NEEDED FOR ANY FURTHER CONCERNS, MRCP. LARGE AMOUNT OF FECAL MATTER IN COLON. NO ACUTE DISEASE
Sorry i cant help but if you are having symptoms of pancreatitis from what i’ve read on this forum the best tests to push for next would be MRCP (this looks like it is suggested as a next step on the report) or an EUS.
I had CT scan which showed nothing but im trying to push for one or both of these tests as unfortunately i know there is something not right in my body.
