Hello there, i was wondering if anyone can help me figure out what this bump is on my lips. two years ago i went to get tested, so they drew my blood & everything & said that i was diagnosed with hsv type 1, but now i go get tested regularly every 3 months & the test results says otherwise & says that i dont have hsv-1, so im confused at this point. i would wanna say its a herpes bump but they say that herpes bump usually scabs & fade away, but this bump has remained on my lips for over a year now. if you have any idea what this bump is or how i can get rid of it, that would save me some stress. thank you in advance.
I wouldn’t really stress out if I have hsv1 on the lips. most people do have it.
and I had 2 outbreaks of hsv1 last year. to me the bump on your lips doesn’t look like a cold sore. probably it’s just a pimple
its not hsv1 specially if its been there for a year its most likely some kind of benign skin growth
Fordyce spots occur naturally on the lips(corners on mouth) also on the penis and scrotum
