Can someone please help! Major chest pain!

Hi,

I’m going into my 5month post op GB. My stomach never bothers me but I have the worst chest pain when I eat. It doesn’t even feel like indigestion. Bad chest pain. I’m on 40mg nexium. I’ve had EGD just last week and it was fine. Also had an ultrasound which was fine too. I’ve been to the ER serveral times and got checked out. Everything was fine. I exercise alot and my cardio dr. is going to do a cardiac cath on me tomorrow. If nothing else to put my mind at ease. I REALLY don’t want to have that done but my GI dr. doesn’t seem to want to do anything. Does anyone else have bad chest pain and if so what could I possibly to take to help. I guess I have no other choice but to have the cardiac cath tomorrow. I’m finding another GI dr. after this. I don’t understand why these GI drs don’t want to listen or believe that getting your GB out isn’t always a piece of cake for everyone! Like i said…i don’t have any stomach issues or bowel issues. Just bad chest pain when I eat.

is it upper chest pain like right between shoulders? that’s where mine is.had mine out Dec.7. I still have major constipation have tried everything! sometimes I still think I’m getting gas stuck up in my chest and shoulders too.its been just now the last couple days happening haven’t really paid attention to whether it was after I eat. but when I get gas out or burp alot it starts to feel alittle better.it is very annoying though.

im about 5 months post op as well. A couple of times i have had the ambulance out with a similar thing. ive been told mine is actually a reaction to a food ive eaten. a friend of mine also has had her gall bladder out and experiences this a lot and now cant eat a whole list of things.

if its after eating and it fatty food, surprised you have not got a list of symptoms though but the eating is a clue now its for you to say what your eating?
