Can someone please help me?

hi, iam 30 year old male, hopefully looking for some professional advice and or opinions if possible. whilst showering around 7-8days ago i noticed a small whitish bump/lump on the crease of my foreskin underneath. ive spent hours searching the internet trying to find a image that resembles my symptom but have yet failed to do so. its not itchy or painful and does not cause me any pain whatsoever. it is sort too touch but feels hard underneath the bump. iam very worried that it might be a form of STI i havent had any sexual activity for 3months and have only been with the same person for the last 12 months. ive tried applying normal malt vinegar to test and see if it goes white and it has. Can some one please take a look and give me an honest opinions. The images were taken after i applied malt vinegar.

Thanks in advance

Hi steven,

It’s likely to be a small sebaceous cyst not an STD like warts, herpes etc. The photos are all out of focus, so if you can please re-post.

Adhari

hi adhari
it seemed to be more circular shape up until using the malt vinegar method,
now it seems to have broken up slightly,
hopefully these images are abit more clearer.

thank you for your time

It looks a lot less like a cyst in the latest photos. Is there fluid beneath the whitened area? In other words, could it be a small blister?

If not and you say it is quite firm underneath, then it could be a small genital wart. Difficult to tell and at the end of the day, a physical examination is required.

Adhari

hi adhari,

their does not seem to be any fluid inside, its seems to be just excess skin,
after examining today there doesn’t seem to be a hard lump underneath.
its been 9 - 10 days now since i first noticed it and it hasn’t got any resemblance of the cauliflower effect.
it has changed slightly since using the vinegar again here are some new images.
thank you very much!

“Solid excess skin” sounds like a hyperkeratotic response to some local injury- like calluses on your hands, etc. Good idea for you to see a dermatologist and to find out what this is and maybe also identify the cause.

thank you very much for you reply
