hi, is it possible for syphilis to cause discomfort inside the urethra of a penis? Even 3/4 month after exposure? Been having an annoying irritation discomfort feeling for months. had all other stds checked and have come back negative. also uti came back clear. i did have a hospital appointment but it got cancelled due to the Coronavirus outbreak so im stuck for now. i have never seen any lumps or chankers on the penis. just one time there was a reddish rash on parts of penis which was cured with canestan cream

u would have developed an ulcer about 1/2cm in size i dont think syphilis is the cause of ur issue

Welcome back Kim, keeping well so far - only main risk factor is my Mum has 4 or 5 Carer’s visiting her everyday - just hope none are carriers!!!
