I've woke up feeling exactly like this today! Dr's for me, it is anxiety could also be stress are you stressed at all? And do you suffer with migraines?
no i dont think it is anxiety you should go and see a doctor and see what they say i fill like you most days
Could be abit stressed I have suffered with migraines for a few years now
oh right have you been diagnosed Alison
I suffer with everything you've said apart from stomach pains and feeling winded but I do know that anxiety can also cause them, go to your Dr and let them know how your feeling? I'm sure it's nothing serious but best to get checked I've woke up with a sore neck really bad headache and dizziness today! Take care
All that can be anxiety but yeah you should tell the doctor exactly that. Also if you are worried about something like a brain tumor or something head related. Get a flashlight or the flashlight option if you have a smart phone. Go to a mirror and shine the light on your eyes. If your pupils constrict right away and they are the same size then you probably dont have anything brain related, as far as something creating pressure in the skull.
I get sore neck aswel painful I no please let me know how long this lasts thanks
i will try that thanks
Heya,
I know exactly how you feel. It can be really scarey, and when it happened to me I was convinced it wasn't anxiety because I hadn't really been feeling stressed. The problem is that you don't always know you're stressed when you are: your body can be stressed with you feeling mentally stressed. It's stupid and confusing, but I can assure you that it sounds exactly like anxiety to me. I suffered with all your symptoms and more for a long time before realising it was anxiety!
Just to clarify, here are some physical symptoms of anxiety:
-Pressure/tension in my body/head/neck
-Intense headaches/shooting pains/dull aching
-Burning/crawling/pins and needles/itching/irritation on my head
-Pains anywhere in the body
-Joint/muscle pain
-Vibrating sensations anywhere in the body or head
-Tiredness
-Flue like symptoms
-Nausea
-Bladder problems (IBS, Cystitis or other)
-Cramps in the stomach
-Chest pains or tightness
-Increase in heartbeat
-Dizziness
-Feeling weak, faint or shaking
-Feeling a 'lump' in your throat (like when you're about to cry)
-Funny tastes in my mouth (i often got a metallic kind of taste)
-increase in spots
-Pain in my ears
-Constantly 'body checking' for symptoms.
That's just skimming the surface really. But maybe you should consider the mental symptoms too:
-Feeling 'on edge' or 'jumpy
-Confusion
-Short Term Memory Loss
-Inability to concentrate
-Depressed
-Scared of everyday things (e.g. public transport)
-Mood Swings
-Constant worry about health (a bit of an obvious one)
-Depersonalisation
-'Zoning out' or day dreaming more then usual
-Mentally seeing images of something you're afraid of
-Constantly seeking information and reassurance
-Disbelief from doctor diagnosis
-Reassurance from family, friends and doctors that you are well
Again, that's just skimming the surface but have you experienced any of these mental symptoms at all?
It can be fustrating when people are telling you it's all in your head when you are feeling physical symptoms- believe me I was the girl who sat in the doctors office and shouted at them when they told me it was all made up haha!
Lol thank you Becky how long did this last with you
