I have been fighting this for like 4 years now, this thing always gets to me, small stuff get me real bad.
one little set back or something that upsets me ruins my week, how can I deal with the panic attacks, stop it from making me sick to stomach.
are you taking any medication for it? If not talk to your doctor about that because sometimes if you take a certain medication routinely, it takes the edge off of your anxiety and can reduce the likelihood of having panic attacks. One important thing to know with panic attack is proper breathing. There is help on YouTube for this.
Search for something called “stop panic attacks now“then scroll down until you find “don’t panic“. Listen to this when you are feeling panicky. She guides you through it and it really works! I listen to it every time I’m feeling that way and it completely calms me down. Once you learn it you can do it anywhere without anybody knowing.
another idea is to speak with a counselor who can help you manage this.
try not to get even more anxious about all of this because then the symptoms can get worse. I know this is difficult but just take one day at a time. ![]()
Thank you Jan, your reply means a lot and yes I am taking medication, I had to switch between few because the one I was taking didn’t really help, my main issue is the stuff I can’t take care of right away, I think about it day and night. it’s not really big panic attacks, it’s a slow kill, just constant reminder of what can happen what ifs and what not.
