I got rid of all my anxiety symptoms but the one I keep having is shortness of breathe. Feeling like I can't breathe properly and everytime I talk it feels like it's taking too much of my air. It's scary
Hey..how did you get rid of the chest tightness and soreness feeling?
Honestly that never really bothered me, I know I only had it due to severe anxiety.
Oh..what makes you confident that itis not your heart?is it the ecg and all that?
Hi , this is a very. Very common problem with anxiety....just try to keep calm....hard I know.....breathe slowly. Speak when you can...and just carry on...if you are to breathless to talk..others will!!!! Understand....it will go in time.....I promise you.....huge huge hugs....Dee xxxxx
No just the fact that it only happens when I have really bad anxiety. I pay attention to when my symptoms happen. Whenever I'm busy, distracted and without anxiety my chest is totally normal. Then when I start thinking about it and getting anxious my chest gets sore and tight again.
Yup I get what you mean bUT for me it happens every morning as soon as I wake up from sleep..so it's like I had good sleep but I wake with constant soreness..I really hate it..it makes me worry alot..I told my docs they dont seem to be worried. .and said it's anxiety..I feel like getting chest x ray done
It just means you're having anxiety in your sleep is all. I had that happen for a few months. If X-rays will make you feel better then do it, but you are okay!
I hope it just started happening every night. It's the only symptom that really scares me
Thanks that really helps me..ya I'm thinking of going for the chest x ray..it's just really sore and tight..even if I dontake think much about it..every night before I sleep I tend to think of the soreness I will get the next morning so it makes me slightly worried and anxious before I go to sleep..
Yep that's exactly what I did. And of course, I made it happen. It's really horrible, I know. But you will learn to tell yourself, hey it's just anxiety and I'm making myself do this.
Thanks alot..I guess with experience it makes it a whole lot easier. .I have had anxiety for 6 months now..so I'm still new to all this. .though all the symptoms are gone just left with this uncomfortable chest soreness and tightness..I manage to overcome the rest of the things
Oh definitely. It took me a few years to overcome all my symptoms. I still haven't overcame the shortness of breath and breathing problems.
Is it normal be able to see your veins on your chest area..it's not bulging or anything..just very obvious..
I see veins everywhere on me. So yes, it is
Thanks alot for sharing your experience..
Dear friend; do you have a close friend that you trust .who will spend time with you in person or on the phone.I have these same symptoms and ai have found it is not a time io be alone . If you believe in God then you are Never alone.I am a Chaplain and addicted to lorazepam and trying to work my way thru this hell on earth and having success alittle at a time. I found that the anxiety has many faces and what you are experiencing is one of them. Jesus said (do not be afraid for I am with you Always), He has been a constant sorce of strength and peace for me. I will be looking for your reply to talk some more.God Bless you Myrissasaurss.I am praying for you now!
Perhaps you are thinking to much about your breathing thus causing your breathing not to be an automatic process, your making breathing a manual process, your
the one deciding how much to breathe and how fast. I think by raising your heart rate by walking or jogging should have a positive effect.
try to read book out loud, it helps me when i need to calm myself and my breath.
Thank you so much Jim for your kind words. I do have a bf that I trust completely and he does help me through it. I am a Christian and believe in God very much. I thank him every night that I got through the day okay thanks to him. I do find peace in praying. Since I am very badly a hypochondriac some days are harder than others.
