i have really bad anxiety when it comes to anything hsv. i have a daughter and i am always nervous i will transer hsv to her while changing her dipaer. has anybody heard if this happening before?
exactly the same fear and can’t get an answer, everytime she gets diaper rash or spots down there I freak out. Struggling with it all to be fair.
General consensus is that it isnt possible, but my mind tells me otherwise.
Hello, you’re obviously very careful and thoughful parents. HSV is transmitted by skin to skin contact. So obviously there’s a chance of transmission when kissing but with other type of contact, it’s extremely unlikely.
Think about how many times you have kissed someone on the cheek… statisticaly more 1 on 5 had HSV and most of the time… no transmission occur. Really you should your mind at ease.
