Hi all yes they cancelled my op right at the last minute, but will be either Sat or Sun this week.... every cloud has a silver lining I guess...Will look forward to the weekend now...Painfree next week or at least I hope so... Ian.

I was cancelled in May just as I was leaving for the hospital!

At least you haven't had to chase for another date - not long to wait!

I was cancelled whilst in the anaesthetist room! 

There was a hole in the surgical pack, I know how you feel..

Thanks all for the kind words and the comments, well, I can now put the hoover through, and do other things that I had ran out of time for Am looking forward to sharing some more shots from my favourite collection soon once I resize them for the uploader here, I have some very nice animal shots and a few more landscapes. I will post a few before my operation once I know when it is, the hospital are phoning tommorrow morning trouble is I just cant get to the phone quick enough to pick it up, I want a smart phone but I am a bit of a square and prefer cameras and computers to phones.. Thanks for all the comments I really appreciate the contacts you are all making.

I was canceled so many times with my first hip  I know how you feel. I hope they stick to having it sorted for you at the weekend.

Aw Ian that's terrible. But at least u only have a few more days to wait. Don't overdo it before the op. Take this time to rest a while.

When my getting-to-things sped was reduced I took to carrying the phone in a cross body bag.  A nice little leather man bag would help you to keep phones etc to hand 😀 you could order one today for next day delivery.  

So so pleased you are keeping yourself calm about this.  Few more days and bye bye pain.
