Gutted isnt the word I feel at the moment went and signed my consent forms for my op which is tomorrow to get a phone call at 4.15 telling me my operation has been cancelled and im now looking at September also was told that the funding has also been declined but consultant said he would do it really feeling low as have been in pain for over a year and to get this close

What was the planned surgery?
Didnt say might be due to my age as 52 they said it was due to a lot of trauma in the hospital but i dont think I was on the list as asked about taken my nails off and the consultant replied it's a bit early and mentioned September I said no I was in tomorrow think there's been a mess up some where

Please don't feel gutted Denise, stay positive. Focus on the good stuff and don't let it get you down. If you're not yet doing prehab, see a PT and do it. If you're not doing hydrotherapy - see a PT who will work out a regular routine for you. Use this time to strengthen yourself as much as possible and it will pay off.
If you're already doing that stuff - sorry. Keep it up!!
