Cancer worry

This happens every year.  I go for my annual mammogram, and until I get letter saying everything is ok, I start having cancer worries.  This time I have head pains, abdominal and back pains.  I don't really have any usual cancer symptoms - not tired, haven't lost weight, my mammogram results were fine. etc., but can't stop worrying about pains.   I have a very undrstanding doctor, but can't get an appointment for 10 days.  Need some reassurance.

Hello. Sounds like you are really stressing. I started off the same way with my stomach and my back. I had been worrying about a lot of things and then it hit me. ANXIETY. July st try to calm down and breathe

What really calms me down is listening to meditations for anxiety on you tube. I think they could really help you.  Just search for Guided Meditations for Anxiety, lay down and listen.  Also there's ones for overthinking and worry.

Remember that people get all kinds of aches and pains all the time and 99% aren't even serious.

Do slow deep breathing when you begin to stress

All your pains could very well be related to anxiety and don't be surprised if the doctor cannot find anything wrong with you.

Your symptoms aren't typical of cancer symptoms. I have had all of those and only have anxiety.

You are right. I have been to several doctors and they found nothing but anxiety and depression. Thanks for the tip. I will pull that up on utube. Thanks so much.
