Hi - Does anyone get canker sores prior to getting their period? I often get one in the same place under the right side of my tongue. Sometimes I then end up with a horrible 24-48 hour bout of nausea and vomiting.My doctor said this is due to the drop in estrogen.Wish me luck tonight. These episodes usually start in the middle of the night:( Thank you

I never put the two together, but i guess it could be hormone related. I’ve developed three canker sores on my tongue within the last two weeks, including a new one that popped up two days ago. I just started my period tonight. I’ve had nausea as well. I hope you get relief soon and can get some sleep tonight. Having low estrogen SUCKS!
Yes…not exactly a canker…but a mouth sore. always in the same spot…beside a tooth that I previously had a root canal in. It was strange because the tooth always bothered me at the same time. I got it pulled and it still bothers me but the sore doesn’t show up anymore. The premeustral symptoms just get really weird during peri. lol!
