cardiac questions, possibly anxiety related?

Hello again, a couple days ago i was in class, feeling normal, when all of a sudden my upper chest towards the left/center started fluttering and my heart started beating super fast out of nowhere. i did not feel light headed but i did feel super hot, but that might have just been the anxiety working its magic. could this have been an SVT episode? i do get a lot of PVCS and extra beats so i'm not sure if thats what's caused it. it hasnt happened that bad since but for a couple of days (not in a row) my heart was beating very rapidly in the morning, around 120 bpm, again not light headed and feel fine. should this be a cause for concern? my doctors & ekg say i'm fine but then again, they pin this all on anxiety so i would like to get a few more opinions. let me know, thank you!

That’s the definition of an SVT episode, heart beating fast, so yes, that’s what it was. You don’t feel light headed at 120 bpm unless you are badly out of shape. 120 bpm you can get even when watching an action movie or walking fast. Fast heart rate out of the blue and extra beats often appear when stressed out. I had it, and I know a lot of people who had it, some just for a few days, after a stressful event. If your doctor says it’s ok, then most probably it is. So, you just have to lower the stress and don’t mind the heart acting up from time to time.
