I had cataracts surgery in 2015. Three years later I had Jag laser in both eyes as they had - deposits binding the edges of the lenses to my eyes. The Jag worked in the right eye not in the left and made it worse. Now, very often, especially after I've been awake for a number of hours, I can feel the lenses in my eyes behind in the capsular bags. I also see the edges of the left lens and it moves when I blink. I used to wear hard contacts lenses years back so I know how this feels and looks like. It is like I'm wearing contacts inside my eyes and often is very uncomfortable. Docs say this is impossible. I am not crazy. I feel them move up and down inside my eyes. Anyone else ever experience this?
As you are experiencing this after being awake several hours could you be experiencing dry eye? Do artificial tears help?
Not really. My eyes are dry. I've tried all the drops gels etc. They soothe but they do not do anything to impact my feeling of the lenses INSIDE my eyes. Great for the surface. But the problem is not there primarily.
Robin , is JAG procedure tyhr same as YAG procedure. Are you in the USA?
