I had surgery yesterday on my right eye. The lens was a 17 Diopter mono focal. This morning I am seeing 20/20. Will the good vision stay this time? I had lasik 21 years ago at age 37.The last 14 years I needed glasses. each year the glasses got thicker as my eyes got poorer. I work on a computer all day and usually took my glasses off to see the screen. Most need reading glasses but not me (until post surgery) is it possible that I was training my eyes to see up close and therefor, altering my distance vision? I want my post cataract results to be long lasting. Is there any steps that can be taken? vitamins, eye exercises...? thanks
