cataract surgery

I am scheduled for cataract surgery a week from today.  However, I have developed what I believe is a subconjuntival hemmorage (red/brown vein) on the white part of my eye.  I'm wondering if this will complicate the surgery.  Has anyone had cataract surgery while this condition existed?

Subconjunctival hemorrhage is not an absolute contraindication for cataract surgery. Your ophthalmologist will be able to tell you if you are safe to undergo the procedure. Give him a call.
