I was diagnosed with genital herpes just over 2 weeks ago and have had to have a catheter fitted due to bladder retention had ulcers in my urethra. I see a urologist in just over a week and was wondering if anyone else went through this and has made a full recovery. I am terrified that ill never pee normally again. the sores on the outside have healed up finally but im stuck with this catheter and its making me depressed and anxious
