Has anyone had a elevated CBC count with EBV/Mono?
Hi Neenie, Yes, most people with Mono will usually have an elevated white blood cell count(WBC) the CBC is the COMPLETE BLOOD CELL COUNT including white, red cells of different types…your body creates more white blood cells to fight off whatever infection(viral, bacterial etc..also in response to OTHER perceived invaders) using your symptoms and the CBC it helps determine what is going on in your body!!
