Hi everyone!!!
Been on celexa for about a week and severely constipated and my stomach feels uneasy. Anyone experiencing this or have any way to cope with this? I hope this subsides as I don't want to rely on laxatives etc.

There will be a leaflet in the box of your tablets. Look and see if constipation is on the list. I take this medication and I am not constipated even when I take my Pain medication.
The drug may upset the tummy although I would look towards your consipation.
They used to say allow a week before you treat constipation. If you are unsettled talk to your GP about your bowels

Thanks for responding, constipation is indeed listed in the leaflet as one of the common side effects but I'll bring this up to my gp and get his thoughts on this issue as I don't want to depend on laxatives etc. thx.

Oh trust me I absolutely will. It's working amazingly lol just need to get this constipation issue sorted out.
