Hi all last night i was doing washing at my parents house.while sitting i got this sharp stabbing pain in centre of chest which lasted only a second but made me nervous.then after that i felt like i coulnt swallow or take a full breath.went to get something from shop and then felt very nervous.like heart was beating fast and i was going going to faint.
do you normally have generalized anxiety? Anxiety can cause hundreds of symptoms including pain anywhere in the body and also rapid heartbeat. However I always advise people to get a check up at their doctor first just to have peace of mind.
if everything is OK at the doctors then you can start working on managing the anxiety. Hope you feel better soon

Have ever been diagnosed with any form of anxiety or panic attacks?? Anxiety can and does cause the symptoms you describe but so do a lot of other things (mostly benign) so don't panic. You don't say how old you are but my advice would be to make an appointment with your primary care Dr and have him/her check you over and if no cause is found for your symptoms then you will know they are caused by anxiety and can get on your way to managing it.
