Hello! I went to my obgyn yesterday because I could feel a weird lump on my cervix. She did a speculum exam and she told me I have cervical ectropion. Now my question is, can you have cervical ectropion if you are not on contraceptives nor pregnant? Also, I didn’t have any other symptoms like bleeding or pain, and my last pap smear was 11 months ago and it was good. I asked her if I should be concerned about cancer, and she said definitely not, but It is weird cause she only did a speculum exam, and I read that ectropion can be confused with cancer. I am really scared, and I need to wait another month for my pap smear
