does anyone have any idea what the blackened spot in on the disc, just above the cord? Anyone seen this before

I could be way of the mark but when yr disc is black like that it normally means its drying out . 3 of mine were completely black dried out . It maybe they this is the start of yr disc drying out. I suppose only yr consultant can say for sure .

I do I've had it for years except there s. O black dots just whole black disc s
