Chalazion after cateract surgery

Does anyone know if I have had cateract surgery about 8 months ago and now have a chalazion inside of lower eyelid, can I use Bragg apple cider vinegar to treat it

Janice, I wouldn't use Bragg apple cider vinegar to treat your chalazion.  Doctors recommend using warm wet tea bags for 10 minutes, three or four times a day.  They can take weeks to go away.

Hi Evelyn just seen this . Thank you for replying ! I do just that with the warm compresses! I was going to make my next appt. with the surgeon that did my cateract surgery last August. Looking at pics on internet I saw it called chalazion. My regular opthomologist didn’t say what it was , just to use the warm compresses. So u think it will go away soon. What in the world causes it? Thanks again for your support!

Forgot about the tea bags . Will fix one now!

janice, you have to be patient because it took weeks for my chalazions to go away.  I also had a prescription ointment for my eyes.  Good luck!!
