Last February and March i have unprotected sex with a male who i was not sure had genital herpes or warts. About two weeks ago i noticed these small bumps going all of the way from the inside of my vagina to the middle of my vestibule. It seems like they occur in a straight line and occur on both sides but mostly in the right side. The itch sometime and they do not hurt to touch anymore. I went to the urgent care and the doctor said that it did not look like herpes or warts just an allergic reaction. He told me that is they do not get better within a week that i should go in and get tested for herpes. It seemed to appear right after i was treated for a yeast infection. My question is how likely is it that i would have contracted herpes from just those two exposures?
Dealing with a scare myself at the moment I’ve been doing research of ways genital herpes are contracted. I wouldn’t know how to answer based on your symptom so far. From what I gathered online in terms of genital herpes it’s easy to pass even with condom since sometimes a condom doesn’t cover up the infected area. And please I’m not trying to alarm you. But having unprotected sex with someone of unknown status could potentially put you at risk since in order to contract herpes there needs to be skin to skin contact which definitely happened. Even if your partner wasn’t showing physical signs of herpes, people are still able to pass the STI on. And again this is just based on the information I’ve gathered online of how it’s transmitted. The possibility is there but i couldn’t tell you if you definitely have it.
Don't worry I really think you would have to have sex more than twice. It's probably an allergic reaction maybe the soap he used or something. Stay off Google it'll drive you nutts
You can get herpes from one time
From your explanation of your vagina situation and my own experience...sad to tell you that 101% you infected Genital Herpes Type 2 or HSV2. I infected few years ago and the starting is like this like mild symptoms because your body still strong and have sufficient immune system to battle the virus. However, pro long term your immune system getting lower until frequently recurring will happen... the blister..mild bump pink and itchy and tighten feeling. It won't stop and irritating for the rest of your life.
I have been with this for many years. Until I found 1 way to control the recurring and seem successful than doing exercise and taking pills to control. Let me know if you interested. Only 1 way and 1 way.
How long did your bumps last for?
And what does tighten feeling mean?
