A year ago I was awarded standrate living and mobility pip due to depression and anxiety.
Since then, I have been newly diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, generalised anxiety disorder and post traumatic stress disorder-adjustment disorder.
I have been asked to attend a face to face for my reward review- does anyone have any wxpierence with these issues relating to pip-
Since being awarded the pip I am still struggling with depression and anxiety on a daily basis and now have my new diagnosis which wasn’t present on the last face to face- will these new diagnosis count as daily living getting worse/ account toward me being able to keep my PIP award. I have seen so much in the media about mental health patients because denied pip or having it taken away following a reward review and am highly anxious that they could take it away from me as I am unfit to work and although I recieve ESA- I will not be able to survive on just that benefit and losing my pip will affect me and cause more stress in my life financially. If anyone has any advice or expierence it would be much appreciated.
I’d just like to add, I do not go out much due to my anxiety and when I do I have to have either my partner or mother with me, and struggle a lot with normal daily tasks such as medication, motivation to look after myself and personal responsibilities hence why I live at home and my mother is my carer who provides most of my encouragement and reminding for these things.
I also suffer from frequent panic attacks.
