Hi.

I've been on eliquis for a year or two now. Hasn't made any difference though. Although no side effects either. Been put on the waiting list for my third and hopefully last ablation. Was going to get a Maze procedure done but they wanted to try a more thorough ablation first.

I've also tried most of the stronger afib medications. The only one that worked was Cordarone but it also gave me horrible side effects so i was taken off of them.

How does this change affect your AFIB & FLUTTER?  You didn't explain.

Thanks everyone what would I do without you all  L xxx

I've been taking rivaroxiban for 4 years. I'm interested to know why you're changing to apixaban. I think the apixaban now has an antidote whereas I don't think there's an antidote for rivaroxiban. Is this the reason for changing it?

Hello Elizabeth, I haven't tolerated Rivaroxaban very well since starting it I have experienced extreme loss of strength and weakness and weight loss, and in the abscence of finding any other cause for my symptoms my GP thinks it is the rivaroxaban . so GP is changing me I don't know if it has an antedote.
