Hello guys, need some advice.
I am on 10mg of Cipralex (Lexapro) for about 1,5 year now but even though it did work for me (except the first week which was hell) I have started to experience some weird side effects and the anxiety has returned as well.
After a visit to my doctor she prescribed me Zoloft and some Centrac (benzo)...
First thing I asked is if I should start it immediately or wait a few days for the Cipralex to leave my system and she told me that I should start right away but man I am so afraid of new medication...
Do you have any advice or experience for me to help? Thanks!

I'm actually starting Zoloft this week, too. I was prescribed it actually a week ago but I've been terrified to start taking this new medication because new medication always is awful for me in the beginning... I hate it so much. I finally just took one on Sunday. I did a lot of research over the past week or so about Zoloft and the success stories are amazing for mental health. Many people don't have side effects that I've read, though some do of course.
Defintely start it right away, Zoloft for me is just an add on to my Wellbutrin but after hearing stories so often about it's success, I'm finally willing to give it a go! If you need anyone to talk to who is going through the Zoloft process as well, feel free to reach out!
Hi Mike, I took lexapro for a while, for my nightmare Restless leg, I was also on an SSRI as well. No problem combining for me. But for me lexapro was a nighttime thing. I'm on gabapentin now and prefer it. Lexapro is a newer drug.
