I'd rather avoid going to the doctor because things are hectic from a death in the family and financially tight. If I have to get checked out I obviously will, but I'm hoping someone here can provide some useful information. I've been experiencing flem clogging my chest randomly for several hours at a time. It makes me cough and and sometimes I will cough the mucus up. It's clear and not colored in anyway and there is no blood in it. This has been over the past month or so and has come after a few months of getting loogies every once and while. I do smoke, pipe tobacco and cigars, and I do it fairly frequently. Thanks.
