Chest pain associated with anxiety????

Is chest pain in the centre of the chest wall associated with anxiety???

I sometimes get acid reflux and burping often helps.

Can anyone relate to these problems???

Yes, they are anxiety. I have the chest pain myself

Where abouts in your chest do you get the pain and what type of pain is it??

I sometimes get a pinching feeling, and when I get really nervous I will have the burping type as well.  I find that I do not have these symptoms outside of a panic moment, like I never have them first, then panic.

Yes all can be caused by Anxiety.

If you have an upset tummy ask a chemist or GP to supply some medication to calm it down. If this stuff does not work it will be anxiety and could cause problems like ulcers.

I don't get an upset stomach as such but more like a feeling of trapped wind and the need to burp - using a hot water bottle really helps but I'm concerned which makes the whole feeling 100% worse !

It does sound like anxiety, have it checked out and put your mind at rest

I have had an ECG in July and it came back clear, I had bloods and a stool sample and all were clear.

I have been to my GP on many occasions recently due to my healthy anxiety and I feel embarrassed if I was to go again !!!

I have made an appointment for a weeks time so I can monitor my symptoms and see if they ease off over the next few days.

The pain has eased off as I've stopped thinking about it, it's clearly physiological!!!
