It has been 4 months, i have visited couple pf doctors, all my ecg, chest x ray is Ok but stil pain is there ...any one can help ?
Hi,
Its great news your investigations have come back ok, but appreciate the frustration of still having no answers. Have you had an ultrasound scan or seen a physio? This can show determine whether you have any muscular, connective tissue tears, trapped nerves, inflammation etc? have you been checked for costochondritis? It could be so many different or, a combination of things. I believe any shoulder (possibly rotator cuff problems, thoracic outlet syndrome) and neck problems can affect the sternum as well. It may be worth speaking with your GP and discuss having more investigations to rule out the above.
Good luck!
Thanks kez for your reply. Yed i have seen pulmonary specialist and he conducted several blood tests but did not advised for ultrasound. I had thyroid test, kidney function test, lft, vitamin d level was 29 and b12 level was 69 which were slightly low than normal range...i got 12 vit 12 capsules and finished but no effect on pain. All othet test were normal.
now i visited another doctor speciliast internal medicine or physician , he had 1 appointment and checked ecg and x ray and tols seems muscle pain and prescribed me with muscadol 2 times a day for 5 days. But seems no effect...
