Hi, I’m a 15 year old w anxiety. This morning, I was at the dentist and laying back in the chair, while I was getting up fast, I had a sharp pain on the right side of my chest and got very worried. I had an ecg a few months ago and it was normal. Is this pain heart related or muscle pain. I’m freaking out:
hey im 16 i have really bad health anxiety and sometimes my symptoms include chest pain i had a ecg today and it came out fine . its just anxiety . and ik its easier said then done but it really is . and my doctor said im to young to have a heart attack . so therefor youre to young.and from what i believe when you get really stressed /anxious your blood pressure goes up . and on top of that your mind is telling you every its more then that its a heart attack imma die . just try and remember its just anxiety
sounds like anxiety. are you eating well?
It sounds like muscle pain from anxiety tension, i get the same and it can be very scary but if you lay or sit down and relax your shoulders and chest and listen to some meditation it will help, also (and i am a lot older than you) i have started to do daily stretches for 10 minutes ever morning - follow a video online, this has helped me and i do not get as much tension pains, remember anxiety makes you hold yourself differently without you realising.
