I was wondering if i could seek some advice or see if anyone else had been through something similar.
My story:
Around July 2020 I had a bad aching sensation around my ribs and back to the point where i had to call an ambulance cause it literally makes me feel like i can’t breath. No temperature or vomiting though. All routine checks were done and they couldn’t determine any problems at that time that caused concern. (Mainly suspected inflamed diophrame) but as it calmed white spots formed on my tonsils and I was in contact with the doctors i was placed onto anti-acid tablets 2/3 times throughout as white spots continued. Again no fever/sickness.
Over the months the pain did go and I got back on track. After being told all is well I started to experience sever pain to the top of my stomach which caused me to vomit and the pain subsided after about an hour and again I ignored and pushed any concerns aside.
Jan the burning/chest pain came back again
Feb 2021 the stomach cramps and sickness got worse to the point where I finally went to a&e and was told to come back for a scan the following day (After having the scan it was an obvious case of Gallstones) I was kept in hospital for 5 days (due to large gallstone and an infection) and had my gallbladder removed 10.02.2021
Today is 21.02.2021 and I feel okay but can barely eat much due to stomach being swollen, I have continuous pain around chest and between my breast (main area of discomfort) it feels like someone pushing down on it and burning.
I’m a very anxious person and have been constantly worrying since having surgery. I have had follow up bloods at doctors since surgery which the doctor did say my bloods came back as fine. I believe this was for, Liver, Anemia, white blood cells, electrolights (sorry if not spelt correctly). I also had MRI scan before surgery which I hope means if there was any worry of something before surgery they would’ve picked it up.
So it’s been 11 days since surgery and the symptoms I’m experiencing is Bloated Stomach, Difficulty eating much (have lost over a stone since being in hospital to now), pain in chest and stomach.
the doctor has said that he’s not too worried at the moment, he tested my oxygen which was at 99% my blood pressure (which was normal) but if continues to go back. I just don’t want to ignore anything just in case. Whole experience is a lesson well learnt.
Any advice or support would be amazing.
