I am suffering with pain in my upper stomach and chest that goes through to my back. Been prescribed lansoprazole but no relief yet 5 days in.
Petrified of an endoscopy.
Anyone else suffering with the same ?
You'll get relief if it is something going on in the stomach. You've got the best pills on the market. Petrified of an endoscopy? My sister went for multiple endoscopies at the age of 7, 8, 9. I went for my first endoscopy at age 19. Waiting for my next one in july. Nothing to be scared of especially if you are older then me. It's a 5 minute procedure.
I am. Tablets seem to not be Benifiting and I have had the same pain in my back and chest.

Yes, i stopped taking after a few weeks use, debilitating pain, just as u have described.
I suffer with this quite frequently and it seems to get worse each time, my doctor told me it was built up acid in my stomach but I am growing less and and less sure that Is what it as each prescribed tablet I have been given has only worked so long before I've become immune to them, even Lansoprazole these days is barely lifting the pain
