I was feeling a bit rough last week, turned into a bad cough and then my wife caught it, hers became worse and she is now in the local 'Acute Assessment Unit' with pneumonia ! If she got the bug from me do I have pneumonia ? if not why did hers develop into something so bad ? I feel lousy but can live with it but should I get it checked out, could it get worse ?

well, rogerroger, since its been 3 days, you are either dead or well by now. lol you really cant tell where she got the bug . just because youre sick doesnt mean she got it from you. if you dont have a fever, i wouldnt worry too much but if you feel worse or develope a fever, go to a dr. (and no, it doesnt mean you have pneumonia, also) hope you both get better. good luck
Well I'm still around terrie ... a lot better but still a bit 'chesty', my wife's still in the hospital but we're hoping she'll be out in the next few days. It seems the first lot of antibiotics didn't really work ... I guess worries are over, good of you to take the time.
