Haven't revived a letter yet or a text but had a dla payment into my account for my son today I've tried to work out what he been awarded but with the amount that went into my account doesn't add up right could it just be a backdate payment from when I put the claim form in ?
It happened my husband as well. Money came first and he received the letter a few days later. You can ring them up and ask what the money is for. (We did as well.) so if you are not happy with the decision, you have a few extra days to prepair for MR.
Yes Fox glove is right, often the money comes before the decision letter. If nothing comes tomorrow give them a ring they'll tell you the decision over the phone. Yes money would be backdated to the date you claimed. If you're not happy with the decision you have 1 month from the date of the decision to ask for a Mandatory Reconsideration.
