My 8yo son was taken to A&E before Xmas with an unknown allergic reaction (swollen eyes only) the nhs can’t give me an appointment for allergy testing for months so I thought I’d go private but he can’t be tested privately without a Gp referral - now I need to wait 2 weeks to see my Gp just so he can send a referral letter. The NHS is so bad it’s even slowing down getting help from the private sector - any advice on getting tests done without a referral ?
