Chilled

afternoon peeps!

hope everyone is having a good Saturday,

had a busy day yesterday with a wedding and a curry!

had a lovely wash, clean nighty, my boyfriend shaved my legs and I've sat with an ice pack most of the day with the odd walk about! So far so good, feeling ok considering I'm only day 4

A wedding on day four sounds quite an achievement. I bet your ice pack is your best friend at the moment!!

well done you

Carol

My ice bag was my best friend, still is lol. You go girl, awesome job

Your doing good, I'm day 8 and I've been asleep most of the afternoon, well an hour and a half anyway but I must say I woke up feeling good!!

It's gone, that horrible grindin nagging hip joint is in the bin yipee

Nice One Linzh once the swelling goes down and you get the dressing off, were you Stapled or Glued?? I had Scouse Baths for two weeks, easy with a bald old nut and the cold water is refreshing but now I am week 7 today, time goes by so fast I want to be back at work in a weeks time, waiting for the second one...

Looking forward to hearing more as you go along.

Kind regards Ian.

Now that's what I call true love ......boyfriend shaving your legs for you! Glad  you re doing well after your bad start.....keep it up!

🎉

Sounds fabulous....go you 👍👏👍👏

Having my wife wash my legs and change my stockings was one of the best parts of the recovery process!

You have made me feel so much better. I am 4 weeks away from my operation and do hope that I can attend a family  wedding 10 days later.

stay positive and you can do anything.... the operation, really is the easy part.

good luck. x

Hi Mark,

Wife putting on my sox for first 3 weeks post op was funny, bit like being a baby. Yes she tore them off with her teeth in a passionate night when we first met, but not quite the same this!

Hope you can put on sox standing up at 4 months!

good luck1
