chills? help?

I am 21, for 7 years i have been dealing with anxiety and other diagnosis. I have somatic sympton disorder. I also was diagnosed with gerd. I stopped my zantac at start of this week, i also have chronic headaches and other symptons. For the past two days i have been getting chills in my arms, especially the left arm and thigh. I also feel like a sensation of a "drop". Its hard to explain but i just get numb. Does anyone know if something is wrong with me? I left theraphy so that isnt an option. Anyone can help?

When I'm anxious I sometimes get the chills, kinda like I have the flu or something, it's not usually too intense, but very noticeable. It's a symptom of anxiety that some people get and others do not. I think I know what you mean with the "drop" feeling. Does it feel like your kind of being pushed down to the ground even if you're just sitting or standing still, and you get kind of dizzy? It's a terrifying thing to go through if you ask me. I suggest doing things you enjoy to help ease your mind. Hope this helps!

Its like im powering down, draining myself.

Easier said than done. I rarely get out .

Thank you

HI

I have chills, have been for about a year.  They come out of nowhere, usually on my arms and upper body occationally on the legs.  I believe they come with anxiety.  They only last a few seconds then gone for days, hours or months.  Anxeity is an odd duck, comes in many forms in our bodies.  I also get alot of head and neck pain, i know when i get them my anxiety only makes them worse. I've had dizziness for a year now, been dx'd by my ENT with migraine associated vertigo, which causes dizziness with silent migraines or the migraine itself.  Mine is more with tension headaches, makes my dizziness 1000 times worse and my anxiety off the charts.  Its getting better though because i'm working on the anxiety. The drop sensation, have that a lot, when I sit down mostly, I feel like my body is sinking or like an unwinding feeling, like I"m sinking into the chair or the floor,  wierd but its also anxiety.  I've had GAD and health anxiety for about 16 years maybe longer.  It comes in waves, I can years without it then like this last bout has been a year.  It takes time to get a handle on it.  I've been seeing someone about it and that has helped alot,  I also read a great book about worry and the brain, its called "The Worry Trick",  very well written and explains so much about how we worry and why.  Another one is a workbook I've been working in and its helped so much, "The Anxiety and Worry workbook" .  Both of these have a wealth of info and if you do the workbook it really helps.  Best thing for anxiety and worry, is to accept it, when you have a symptom just sit down let it happen, when you try to fight it, it only gets worse.  I know i spent many months telling it to go away and getting upset and frustrated, until I read the books and starting using the info and its actually helping  me.  I also do 30 mins of meditation a night, this helps also so you can relax the mind and body from all the worry and anxiety.  The mind and body need a break from it and it helps to begin the breaking the cycle of constant anxiety.

I hope you feel better and find some relief.
