CHOO-CHOO: Post-Menopause Is A TRAIN WRECK!!!

Hello Lovely Ladies, I am DEEP in the throes of post-menopause, to say the least; regarding the meno-trios, it has been thee absolute worst for me!! That being said, my symptoms have been relentlessness! Suffice it to say, there have been many times, I have just wanted to go into a dark closet, and live there, til this sugar, honey, iced tea is OVAA!! Does any of you ladies feel the way I do? Tell me your thoughts; thanks in advance.

Ive been in post for 3 years and yes im still having symptoms. They have been on and off but lately its been on. Right now im.dealing with my gut…mainly the right side under the rib breast and down to lower gut part. What are your symptoms?

vivian i couldn’t of put it better myself , im 7 years post meno and still feel dreadful. i too want to find a small dark place and hide until its over if it ever will be and thats how im feeling because its been 11 years since the start of peri.

I am dealing with sooooo… many DREADED symptoms, it’s unfathomable! I will list some of the ones that have RECENTLY ruffled my feathers, they are:

  1. Insomnia
  2. Night Sweats
  3. Cravings For Sweets
  4. Knee Pain
  5. Negative Thoughts
  6. Very Irritable
  7. Dry Eyes
  8. Dry Skin
  9. Frequent Urination
  10. Stiff Hands

Hi Vivian, thanks for responding. I have #5 , #9. The health anxiety makes it even worse for #5.
Have you ever had gut issues? My problem is severe constipation. Lately, i only go if i take something and sometimes that doesn’t help.

Im guessing these post issues are from the lack of hormones. I hope it gets better.

I hear you, LOUD & clear! And yes, I have had GUT issues, as you sooooo… eloquently stated! How about this: My GUT has gotten bigger, it has expanded! Smh! Our hormones WREAK HAVOC on us womenfolk, it’s overwhelming! You are soooo… right about the decline of our hormones! Anyhoo, be well, my menopausal sister!!
