get some cold milled flax seed. mix three tablespoons with a glass of water every night along with a stool softener. drink lots and lots of water. get a thermos and keep it by your side. it works!

I would go see a doctor if its a fissure the surgery is a savior for pain relief.

sorry to hear what you’re going through, a lot of people on this forum have experienced the same so you’re not alone… definitely sounds like time to see specialist though… there’s minimally invasive treatment like Botox that can work for some people. maybe consider eliminating red meat if you haven’t already. good luck!

-take magnesium citrate/oxide supplement daily: this is the best stool softener!

-don’t eat white flour foods or anything that is constipating for you

-add kiwis, pears, prunes, flax seed to your diet

-find a good balance between your fibre intake and water intake. too much fibre or too much water can cause really big stools

  • buy a portable bidet shower spray to clean yourself. and dab with tissue to clean, do not wipe.

  • also you need to see a CRS and discuss surgery options. sometimes fissures are too far gone to heal by themselves. you need LIS.
