I've just come to this forum ..on the intention to help you guys..as someone who understands how debilitating it is to have this condition...
My story in short as it's a bit late and I'm quite busy nowadays as well..
I had a stomach condition which was debilitating so much for so long..until finally I had an operation ..which I'm doing good now and recovering..
I was very tired all the time ..had the symtoms of cfs but thought it was my stomach..
So when I had operation I was still very tired but could eat better so I was confused why I was so tired ..restless sleep, coundnt get a good night's sleep ..had to only work 2 days and it made me so tired I was recovering for next 3 days..
I have muscle twitching headaches ..depression...
So someone suggested acupunture to me ..
Well after the first session I was disorientated and he said the chi (energy) was bad and I needed to take these herbal tablets..
So I started taking them and been going to see the acupuncturist now for three weeks and I'm getting better day by day..the herbs compliment it...
Also I was told to try qichong ..
Well when I tried that..wow
It was like someone pressed the on button ..my skin was good..my energy was good and I put some good lean weight on..
Thanks to our Lord Almighty...
So when I feel tired as I'm still recovering I do qi chong I'm back to good thinking and good energy ..thank God..
So I thought help others ..for the sake of your lords pleasure..and their happiness ..
Adam. Many years ago I knew the box my health lived in was small. Therefore I decided with Christ's help to be life & health insurance agency all from my cell, which allowed me to deal with my growth in Christ plus find a good wife plus develop real estate agency and lay in bed as much time as my body needs. Each additional illness that beat me up I dealt with while conducting business from my cell any hour I was well enough.
that's awesome if you think it is CFS.. pretty sure mine was caused by that EBV virus but I have been meaning to try acupuncture. I've heard wonderful things about it. How often do you get it done? And yes the good Lord has helped me through this so much! What kind of surgery did you have on your stomach if you don't mind me asking?
Greetings Adam, I am glad to hear you got better. However, you were never diagnosed with ME/CFS, so what you experienced after your operation might have been something completely different. ME has to diagnosed by ruling out a lot of other things. For some years now various researchers have been working on a clinical marker for ME, so hopefully it will not be long now until we have it.
Chi gong literally saved my life , and Jesus Christ, ive come from bedbound but still have a long way to go it seems , thanks for the reminder on both things , will give them more attention , wishing your recovery very well <3 Guava
I will have to try that chi gong. I tried grounding or earthing last week and stupid me stepped on a thorn of a old Buckeye or something and now I'm dealing with that been soaking and putting ointment on it so that I don't get an infection. I just don't want to have to take antibiotics or get a tetanus shot as you know with our illness everything wacks our bodies out us out. I don't think it was very deep and it's not warm to touch or red but it just still kind of hurts. Seems like always something with me. Just keep praying!
Yes Youll be fine , sitting chigong is best for us , put yr right hand on dantien and left over top, imagine a small seed there and breath into that place , at say the six second count breath, in 6 out 6, i can not guarentee that you wont activate yr kundalini though , especially if you are spiritual also , but that is a process and its evolutionary ,, i believe cfs is part of it all to a degree! much love <3 Guava
Qi gong is a great thing, as are other realted martial arts like tai chi and aikido, which harness the power of your Qi and don't put a lot of stress on the joints.
But can you not use this space as a place to preach about your religion. You can't just say your god/religion fixed your problems. That is not factual evidence that helped with your condition, it's just a belief you have.
If you're not here to preach, then just dont as you clearly have above with all but the bottom line of your previous message.
Preach definition: to publicly proclaim a religious belief
Writing stuff about a religion you belive in isn't factual evidence, it's just preaching. Try writing about experiences you've had that people might actually find useful instead.
