My problem is very embarrassing. For many years, since going on a high-fiber diet, I have suffered from chronic flatulence. I gave up the high-fiber diet long ago but the terrible affliction of flatulence remains. Has anyone else experienced this and found a remedy? I’ve tried everything from over-the-counter pills to low-fiber diet, lots of water, eating slowly - you name it. Nothing has worked. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Have you tried regular exercise, going to the gym twice a week would be sufficient, and stretching more at home, and taking short walks. These days gyms have men and women’s groups where there is a gentle introduction to lifting weights and/or treadmill, rowing machines, etc. whatever you fancy.
