Hi Zamran. If you take the medication every day for the rest of your life the virus should remain undetectable in your blood but it will always be somewhere in your body and if you stop the medication it will replicate again and come back. Please get your nearest and dearest vaccinated against Hep B and always have protected sex if you are sexually active. Don't share things like toothbrushes or razors and tell your dentist and any doctors you consult in the future of your Hep B status.  If you keep up with the medication you should stay well and avoid cirrhosis and liver cancer in the future.

Thank you for replying Sir im only 16 years old . I want to ask that if i get married so this virus will transfer to my ofspring. And can anyone share the same pot  of any kind of drinks. So the virus will transfer to him or not.

Hi Zamran.  It might help to read the basic information about Hepatitis B here

I have replaced the given link with a link to the equivalent article on our site. Also do not paste whole articles from other sites in the forums.

Thanks for the help Moderator. It seemed to take ages for the British Liver Trust link to be moderated, hence the cut and paste which is difficult to control on a tablet!  By the way, most forum software allows the poster to edit a post and correct errors after posting. Can we do this on here? Thanks

Thanks for the clarification. Just to add that the HealthUnlocked website which acts as a server for multiple health support forums allows posters to edit, delete and report posts.  Seems to work fine.
