I have had an infection for 3.5 months. Symptoms are discharge, itching and a smell. It was extremely irritated and red with yeast like symptoms. I tested negative for all STD's, BV, TRICH, and yeast. I have been to the gyno 8 times. Recently my results showed I had BV. I was treated, tested again, my results were negative and yet I still have this infection. The gyno uses many medicines that don't work, he does not know the underlying cause because all labs are negative. It is very uncomfortable, I fear it will never go away.
I would try boric acid inserts specifically for vaginal issues. I get mine on Amazon. I’m not a dr nor do I guarantee them working but they work for me. They balance out my ph balance and bring get relief when my problem is non specific. I hope it helps.
im having the same issue with yeast like symtoms , no smell but it would itch sometimes i went to the doctor and got 4 std test done pap smear hiv you name it everything came out negative but i still can see swelling and discharge its been going on so long then i went again got another std and general infection test it was no std but i tested postive for a staph infection i took the medication and nothing happened i feel like im going crazy honestly i plan to go to the doctor a 6th time im really frustrated
